Foolproof security arrangements for  Imran Khan  court appearance today

All security arrangements have been made for fool proof appearance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan in the Lahore High Court today (Monday). On Friday, the LHC Judge Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh granted bail to PTI chief till today, 2pm. According to the PTI leaders, Imran Khan will appear before the court despite severe life threats to him, as he was attacked in November last year, at Wazirabad during an anti-government rally. He is still under treatment, a fact his anti-political forces are not ready to accept.

Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh will hear the former premier’s bail in case registered allegedly murder attack on PMLN MNA Mohsin Shahnawaz. Senior lawyer Khawaja Tariq will appear before court as counsel of Imran Khan.

The former prime minister will be given tight security from his Zaman Park residence to Lahore High Court judge room. Special arrangements have been made in consultation with IG Police and the PTI leaders. He will be provided full security within court premises and outside.

The media houses have also made special arrangements for the coverage of this event in addition to 24-hour continuous presence of media staff outside of his residence on the Canal Road.
