Imran’s Politics are about to Collapse this is the writing on the wall.
With every passing day, Imran Khan’s political future appears to be growing more bleak. This is not due to a loss of public support; in fact, his popularity may be on the rise. Rather, it is his ill-conceived strategy of taking on the overpowering establishment that is proving to be his undoing. He chose to confront the former army chief at a time when the odds were not in his favor, and he went to great lengths to try to ensure that his preferred general would assume the position of army chief. Unfortunately, it all backfired.
In an attempt to regain power, he has played almost all his cards to force an early election, but most of his stunts have failed. The latest “Jail Bharo” campaign was a disastrous effort. Despite this, his die-hard followers remain loyal, and he has managed to keep them engaged with his theatrics. However, with the government and establishment turning against him, his chances of survival are diminishing rapidly. Reports suggest that the network within the premier spy agency, which once backed him, is being dismantled. Also or perhaps as a consequence his support in the judiciary is also diminishing.
The main obstacle that he faces now is that he owes his rise to power to the establishment, and he openly admits that they did all the work for him in parliament. As a result, he appears to have little faith in democracy or civil institutions, and he refuses to engage in dialogue with other politicians. Instead, he continues to rely on the establishment to restore him to power. However, he may have misread the situation, as many popular leaders in the past, including Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif, have fallen from grace despite their popularity.
The corruption cases against him are also a hindrance, and the case against his daughter could potentially disqualify him. Although he has managed to evade arrest by using his workers as human shields, it is unlikely that this strategy will be successful in the long run. The powerful forces that oppose him are waiting for the right moment to bring about his downfall, which seems inevitable. As he continues to respond aggressively to the government’s actions, he is making mistakes that will ultimately lead to a disastrous conclusion to his political career. That is why many people think Imran’s Politics are about to Collapse.
It is clear that the establishment is following the same path that it used to bring an end to the political career of Karachi’s beloved son, Altaf Hussain. By taking this route, they are effectively putting an end to Imran Khan’s political aspirations. Despite his growing popularity, the establishment’s efforts may prove too great a hurdle for Khan to overcome, and his political career may come to a premature end.
