The English Premier League (EPL) is in its full swing now, with only 3 weeks remaining until we know which team is the English Champion 2022/23. Manchester City is the team to beat in order to crown the championship this season. They are also the defending champions. Arsenal is coming strong with 2nd highest points to take the title. Tomorrow.events foresees Manchester City taking the 31st championship home this season, making it their 3rd consecutive EPL win as well.

Arsenal – 81 points of 35 games
Newcastle United – 65 points of 34 games

Owing to their outstanding performance, defending champions Manchester City are currently in the lead, with 82 points from 34 games. They have lost only 4 games in the season so far. With 4 matches resulting in draws, their total matches won are 26.

Over the past 10 games Arsenal has dropped from 1st to second place. They seem to be in excellent form and are expected to continue giving Manchester City a tough time for the title. They have also lost 4 matches in the season, but as compared to Manchester City they have 6 draws and have won 25 matches.

Newcastle United has shown excellent performance over the past 10 games. They have climbed their way up to third place with 65 points out of 35 games, giving Manchester United and Liverpool a tough competition for their place at the UEFA Champions League. They have lost 5 matches and 11 have resulted in draws, with 18 wins so far out of the 34 games played.

On the other hand, Manchester United are only 1 point behind Newcastle United. They are in for some serious competition if they want to reclaim the third place. As compared to Newcastle, they have had 9 losses so far. In contrast to Newcastles’ 11 draws, they have 6 draws so far, with 19 wins out of 34 games.

Although Liverpool are only 3 and 2 points behind Newcastle United and Manchester United respectively, in football every point is a make or break. They definitely will need to put in strong performance in order to secure their place in the top 4. Hence, the final 3 weeks of the Premier League will be full of exciting and intense competition.
